Meet @angieq8

Of the many physical changes that happen during pregnancy, skin isn’t really something that people tend to talk about. The first thing to note is that there’s no one-size-fits-all regimen for pregnancy.

There are a lot of changes that can occur but they’re not always predictable. I don’t look to my skin issues as negative but rather a way that our bodies can communicate with us. If your skin’s response feels depleting or inflamed, it’s just information directing you toward discovering a better balance. I take a less-is-more approach, it’s important to eliminate ingredients that are potentially sensitising. Products that have too many ingredients can overcomplicate the skins natural processing. So stick with less but powerful products and fewer ingredients!!
It’s important to refresh your skin care routine. Re:P Natural Origin Gentle Pure Cleanser is a gentle vegan-friendly cleanser with organic coconut and green tea extract ingredients. This soft foam moisturizes and calms skin while gently removes dirt. ___________________________________
My second favourite is Ground Plan’s 24 Hour Secret Mist. This secret mist spray does not contain any purified water. But uses 85% Witch Hazel Extract, a great ingredient for tightening skin and minimising pores. This holy grail superstar mist does it all — it hydrates, cools, soothes, cleanses, even helps with irritated, sensitive skin and oil control.
I love applying Pyunkang Oil as my last step before bed. This oil provides antioxidant protection with a powerful blend of plant-based oils, including jojoba seed, sunflower, geranium and rosemary. Skin feels boosted with hydration and restoration, not heavy or greasy at all. ___________________________________
I use the Neogen Day Light Protection SPF50 PA +++ sunscreen on the daily. This lightweight, fluid-like sunscreen offers major protection with broad-spectrum SPF 50 PA +++ with hydrating rose and raspberry extracts. This sunscreen is formulated without the use of parabens, sulfates, or phthalates if those are on your no-no list.
